Questions
Where do the exchange rates come from?
From the European Central Bank's euro foreign exchange reference rates, published once each working day around 16:00 CET. The ECB quotes every currency against the euro; ICC Terminal works out the cross rates (for example USD to INR) through the euro. They are reference rates, not the rate a bank or exchange will give you.
Why are PKR, NGN, AED and SAR not in the list?
The ECB does not publish them. Type today's rate from your bank or the State Bank / central bank into the "your own rate" box and the converter uses it.
How often are the rates updated?
Once a day on ECB working days. Weekends and ECB holidays keep the last published rates; the date is shown on the page.
